The Cabin

Hog Heaven sleeps up to 6 guests across two comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom features a queen bed with quality linens and ample storage. The second bedroom is set up for flexibility with a queen bunk bed that works perfectly for kids, teenagers, or adults who just don't mind a great top bunk view. The open-plan living and dining area flows naturally into a fully equipped kitchen, so whether you're cooking a big breakfast after a morning on the pond or just reheating leftovers from Lufkin's best BBQ joints, you've got everything you need. A bar-height counter doubles as extra prep space and casual seating. Check yourself in with keypad access, no waiting on a key handoff, no front desk, no schedule to keep. Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, heating and air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV round out the comforts. This cabin has everything a hotel has, and then some.

This Cabin is located on 50 acres right by a large pond. It is nestled amongst large pine and oak trees, beside a beautiful fishing pond that you can view from your own back porch deck. This property is located less than 5 miles from Loop 287, which takes you around the city of Lufkin. Downtown Lufkin is less than 10 minutes away. Water activities abound at nearby Lake Sam Rayburn, the largest lake located entirely in Texas, is just an 8-mile drive on Hwy 103 E.

You can hike or bike along the 50-acre property. Or maybe you prefer to fish! Then try your hand at fishing in one of the 2 large ponds stocked with bass, catfish, crappie or brim. Or just sit and relax and enjoy watching the birds, squirrels and listen to the sounds of nature.

If you need a place for a larger group, we have the perfect place for you! The Vacation Farmhouse is also available to rent and is located on the same property. This home sleeps 15 people. It has 5 bedrooms/5 bathrooms, sunroom, large living and kitchen area, separate office area, a swimming pool, jacuzzi and waterfall. (Note: Swimming pool and jacuzzi are not heated and is only accessible to renters of the Vacation Farmhouse)
